AWA aims to keep website tracking limited and understandable. A cookie or similar browser-storage item may be used to maintain security, remember a setting, preserve a referral code, support payment functionality, or measure site performance.
Services currently used
- Cloudflare: AWA uses Cloudflare to deliver and protect JoinAWA.org. Cloudflare may process technical information needed for website performance, security, fraud prevention, and network operation.
- Stripe: AWA uses Stripe for payment processing and customer-management services. Stripe may use cookies or similar technologies needed to provide payment, fraud-prevention, and account-management functions.
- AWA first-party storage: AWA may store an opaque referral code and timestamp in the visitor's browser for up to 30 days when a visitor arrives through an AWA member referral link. The stored code is not the referring member's visible member number.
- Partner access: AWA uses an essential first-party access cookie for up to 30 days after a partner access link is opened. Deleting this cookie requires reopening the access link. Resend delivers transactional emails and does not add advertising cookies to this site.
Analytics and non-essential tracking
AWA does not currently intend to use advertising or cross-site behavioral tracking on JoinAWA.org. If AWA enables non-essential analytics or other tracking that requires consent under applicable law, AWA will update this notice and provide an appropriate consent choice before activating that technology.
Your controls
Your browser may allow you to block or delete cookies and site storage. Blocking storage that is necessary for security, payment, or site functionality may cause parts of the website to stop working as intended.
